EBRACKET® - Residential Range - EBR

Residential Range - EBR

The EBR Ground Up / Re-Roof bracket provides full clearance from the roof surface and being non-fixing (pressure only), it won’t mark or damage building surfaces when in place. With the ability to set up and load rails from the ground, set-up times are reduced, and safety is enhanced.

EBRACKET® - Residential Range - EBR

The EBR Ground Up / Re-Roof Bracket is purpose-built for use on existing buildings where disturbing cladding or soffits isn’t an option. It’s also ideal for new homes, extensions, solar installations, roof painting, and re-roofing projects, providing a quick, non-invasive way to establish a compliant temporary roof guardrail system.

Lifetime Warranty
Applications
  • Existing structures where soffit or cladding removal is not possible
  • New housing and alteration projects
  • Re-roofing, solar panel installation, and roof coating or painting
  • Suitable for flat, gable, and sloped soffits, exposed rafters, and fascia mounting
Installation

The EBR bracket system is installed from the ground up using an adjustable base jack that applies tension under the soffit via a vertical pole attached to the bracket.

Non-slip neoprene pads hold the bracket securely in place — with no need for fixings — and the design allows the fascia board to “lock in” without damage, ensuring peace of mind and clean removal.

Each system includes a fully adjustable foot mount, suitable for both pitched gable ends and flat soffits. The optional Multi Bracket expands compatibility for sloped soffits, exposed rafters, and fascia-mounted applications where there’s no roof overhang.

EBR EBracket® with Multibracket and Outrigger

Adaptable edge protection for structures without eaves or soffits.

Adaptable edge protection for structures without eaves or soffits.

The EBR Multi Bracket is a secondary attachment designed to replace the standard foot mount, allowing the EBR system to be used on buildings without an eave, soffit, or supporting structure above. This innovative accessory extends the versatility of the EBR range, enabling safe, compliant installation in more complex site conditions.

Functionality

Functionality

The Multi Bracket can be configured in three ways:

  1. Pressure-Only System: Used with an outrigger setup, it allows the EBR bracket to remain a non-fixed, pressure-only system for applications without eaves.
  2. Partially Fixed System: Can be partially fixed to the structure, using an upright pole for additional support.
  3. Fully Fixed System: Can be fully secured to concrete, DHS steel purlins, or structural timber — removing the need for an upright pole entirely.
Applications

Applications

  • Buildings with no eave or soffit
  • Structures lacking support above the fascia line
  • Projects requiring alternative mounting options, including concrete, DHS steel purlins, or structural-grade timber
  • Ideal for both temporary pressure-fit and fixed installation configurations
Outrigger (Raker Brace) Applications

Outrigger (Raker Brace) Applications

An outrigger or triangular brace is recommended when:

  • No attachment to the structure is preferred (e.g. existing buildings)
  • The integrity of the eave, fascia, or supporting timber is uncertain
  • The Re-Roof Bracket is used on a vertical pole exceeding 6 metres in height

Got a Question?

What is The Rail Racer?

The Rail Racer is a purpose-built tool that enables you to load and remove guardrails safely from the ground, reducing the need to work at height during installation or dismantling. Clamping directly to aluminium tubes, the Rail Racer allows rails to be raised smoothly into the pre-set clamps on the EBracket system, or lowered back down during removal, making the entire process faster, safer, and compliant with height safety standards. Simple, efficient, and built for speed — the Rail Racer helps you get the job done safer and faster than ever.

FAQs

At what height do I need edge protection?

All roofs require edge protection, regardless of the distance to the ground. WorkSafe is actively enforcing its Working at Heights campaign and may prosecute any non-compliant work practices involving height risks. Safety is not optional — it’s essential.

Is this edge protection compliant?

Yes. All of our systems have undergone rigorous testing under the supervision of a registered engineer in accordance with AS/NZS 4994.1:2023 standards.

Can I erect this system myself?

Yes. Any able-bodied person can install our edge protection systems; no formal qualification is required. Some scaffolders may incorrectly claim that only licensed scaffolders can erect these systems. This is not true. Our products are classified as proprietary edge protection systems, not scaffolding.

Do the brackets stack well?

Yes. The laser-cut and folded design allows brackets to be stacked neatly, making transport and storage simple and efficient, unlike other systems that leave you with bulky, uneven piles.
